Home Screen
When you log into your database, you’ll start on the Home screen dashboard - it gives you a quick snapshot of what’s in your database!
It will look like something like this:
Eleo will calculate information for you like:
- Total Donations
- Average Donations
- Participation by Contacts
- Donations by Donor Type
- Donation Breakdown
- Fundraising Totals
- Fundraising by Category
Total Donations
- Displays the total gift amount and the number of gifts below.
- Breaks down totals for recurring donations and one-time donations.
- Allows you to filter by different time frames (this year, last year, 3 years, 5 years) using the options in the top-right corner of the box.
- Use the green button at the bottom to easily add a new gift.
Average Donations
- Shows the average donation amount across all gifts.
- Provides the average for recurring donations.
- Displays the average for one-time donations.
- Use the filter in the top-right corner to view data by specific time frames (this year, last year, 3 years, 5 years).
- Easily add a new gift with the green button at the bottom.
Participation by Contacts
- Total Contacts: The total number of contact records in your database.
- Total Donors: Contacts with at least one recorded gift.
- Active Volunteers: Contacts marked as active volunteers in their records.
- Active Memberships: All memberships currently marked as active.
- Use the green button at the bottom to easily add a new contact record.
Donations by Donor Type
Breaks down donations into:
- New Donors: Those who gave their first gift this year (or within the selected date range).
- Returning Donors: Those who gave in a previous year (or within the selected date range) and donated again this year.
You can filter by time frames like This Year, Last Year, 3 Years, or 5 Years using the menu in the top-right corner.
Below the pie chart, you’ll see the total donation amount, number of donors, and the percentage of donors.
To print or download only the pie chart, click the three lines in the top-right corner and choose your desired format.
Donation Breakdown
- Donations are categorized based on your selection at the top: Funds, Campaigns, or Appeals.
- You can also choose from time frames such as This Year, Last Year, 3 Years, or 5 Years.
- For the selected category and time frame, you'll see the total donation amount and the total number of gifts
To print or download only the pie chart, click the three lines in the top-right corner and select your preferred format.
Fundraising Totals
- Displays a month-by-month comparison of the last 3 years, including the total for the current month and the Year-to-Date (YTD) total.
Click the three lines in the top-right corner of this section to access options for printing the graph in various formats.
Fundraising by Category
- A pie chart displaying the different fundraising categories: Events, Memberships, General Gifts, and Grants.
- You can choose the time frame in the top-right corner: This Year, Last Year, 3 Years, or 5 Years.
- Below the graph, you'll find the category name, the total fundraising amount, its percentage of overall fundraising, and the number of donors who contributed to those totals.
