How to Track a Raffle in the Events Module
If you would like to track a raffle in Eleo, you can do so using the Events Module. A basket raffle, also known as a ‘Tricky Tray’ or ‘penny sale’, is frequently used for fundraising games. This type of raffle is often used to attract donors who may only be able to donate a small amount. Additionally, donors who enjoy contests where they have a chance to win or lose may also enjoy participating in this event. Technically, the Tricky Tray is a combination of a silent auction and a raffle.
Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to add this as an Activity in your Event Module:
- Click on the Events Module, which is located in the navigation bar in the left hand-side of your database.
- The Event Search is available for you to use in order to search for a specific event in your account that already exists. Click on the event to which you wish to add an activity. If you need assistance with adding a new event, please visit our guide on 'How to Use the Events Module' for a step-by-step process.
- Once you are in your event, click on the Activities tab.
- Click on ‘Add Activity’.
- Enter the corresponding information for your raffle as an activity for your event. Please see the example below and note that all fields with a red asterisk (*) in Eleo are required, while the others are optional.
