How to Troubleshoot Your Internet Browser

Our preferred internet browser is Google Chrome because Eleo was built on it. We recommend using it for the best results. Eleo will still function on other browsers (Ex. Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.), though you may see some small differences in capability. We ask that you bring any differences in functionality to our attention so that we can update our Tech Team for programming. Here are the step-by-step recommendations for troubleshooting your internet browser:

1) Download Google Chrome to begin using it.

a. If you are having issues in your current internet browser, or with Google Chrome, we suggest you clear your cache and cookies, and then try your attempted action again.

  • You may clear your browser by clicking on the three ellipses in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

  • Navigate to Settings. If ‘Update Google Chrome’ is showing, click on it so you can relaunch it with the updated version.

iii. Then click on ‘Clear browsing data’.

1. Then select the time range that you would like to clear your data for from either the Basic or the Advanced sections. You may check-off whichever boxes you would like to clear.

iv. Another option that you may want to frequently consider doing is to clear out your cookies by going to Settings, and then click on ‘Cookies and other site data’.

1. Select the option for ‘Clear cookies and site data when you quit Chrome’.

2. Then click on ‘Cookies and other site data’ to navigate back to your Google Chrome Settings.

User Tips:

• In your browser, you may set your settings however you would like, as these are solely suggestions for when you encounter an issue (Ex. speed in Eleo).

• Please note that the language and steps may differ in your browser depending on which one you are using. We suggest that you research these steps for your particular browser if you need additional guidance.

• We advise that you use the most up-to-date version of your browser.
