Eleo’s Contact Search allows you to locate a specific record in many different ways.
(Click link to jump to that section)

  1. Standard Contact Search
  2. Advanced Contact Search
  3. Using the Contact Grid for Searching
  4. Contact Grid Search Example
  5. Coffee Filter Searching

Standard Contact Search

Click 'Contacts' from the Navigation Bar. Search based on First Name, Last Name, Organization, or Account #.

Advanced Contact Search

Open the 'Advanced Search Criteria' for more options.

Choose the appropriate field you want to use. In the example below, the Contact Type for Individuals was selected. Click on the Search button to populate your results.

*Please note that the number of items on the bottom right-hand side will represent the number of records corresponding to your search query.

Using the Contact Grid for Searching

You can also search within the Contact Grid itself.

This green filter icon above, will Clear any filters you had previously selected.

This icon will allow you to download your Contact Search results into Excel (XLSX), Comma Separated Values (CSV), or PDF format.

Contact Grid Search Example

You can also use the 'Search' box above the grid to locate specific information. You can see in this example, if I search 'John', it looks for any matches within the available fields on the grid and highlights them. This could be a match in a first name, last name, city, email, or any other field in the grid. You can backspace to clear the grid search or use the green clear filter icon.

Coffee Filter Searching

You also can use the Coffee Filters to search within any column in the grid. This is just like filtering in Excel. If I click the coffee filter icon next to First Name, it displays all available names. I can 'Select All' or just a specific name. In this example we will choose 'John'.

Now only records with John as a first name will display.

You have now successfully searched in Eleo using the Contact Search options!
