How to Deactivate a User

Although you have the ability to delete a user, we highly recommend you deactivate them.


Navigate to Site Settings from any page of your database.

Click ‘User Accounts’ to jump to that section.

Select ‘User Accounts’ to add or edit users and their settings.

From the list of your users, choose the user that you would like to deactivate.

This is where you will have the opportunity to make this user inactive or delete them entirely. Again, we highly recommend that you deactivate users to keep their information for record keeping sake.

Use the toggle to make user inactive. You can also choose to delete this user.

If you click delete, you will get a popup asking you to confirm this action.


For this guide, I chose to make inactivate. After either deleting or deactivating, you will click ‘Save’.
