Task Field Descriptions
When setting up a task, the only fields that are required are the Subject and Start and End Dates (marked with * asterisks). The rest are available to customize your task.
Here are descriptions of all task fields:
Subject: Enter a topic for your task. This gives you more information about it.
Start and End Date/Time/Duration: If it is not an all-day event, you may choose to enter the start and end dates, along with the time, and the duration.
All Day Event: Toggle either ‘OFF’ or ‘ON’. Selecting ‘ON’ will remove the time options.
Repeat: Toggle to ‘ON’ if you would like to set this task up as recurring. You will have the option to set up daily, weekly or monthly.
Description: If you have any other characteristics or information about this task, you may list them here.
Task Type: Choose the type of task that you wish to create. Contact, Gift, Event, Mailing, and Grant will allow you to associate it with a specific record of those types. Additional Types can be added by going to Site Settings>Site Customizations>Lookup Tables>Task Types.
Priority: Set the importance level – High, Medium, or Low.
Users/Solicitors: By default, the task will be designated to the user that is currently logged in. You may change it to any other user or assign it to multiple users.
Location: Where the task will take place (if needed).
Completed: Check this once the task has been completed.
Reminder: If you want this task displayed on the reminder screen that pops up when you log into Eleo, then check this box.
