How to Use Contact Status Types

Contact Status Types can be used to identify whether a contact is active, inactive, or any other customized status you would like. It is important to note, this field is purely informational and will not affect which records are counted towards your monthly subscription price.


1. Navigate to Settings > Site Settings from any page in your database.

2. In the 'Jump to' navigation menu, select Customizations.


  1. Click on Lookup Tables.

4. Click on Contact Status Types.


5. From here, you can access Contact Status Types.


• To add a new Contact Status Type, click Add Value. Enter the new code you would like to utilize. You can also enter a description for your information, but this is not necessary.

• Toggle the Active status to On if you would like to use this type.

• Click Save.


You can now build a list of Contacts by status by choosing these filter rule options:
